Last Saturday was more like it! The Tide looked sharp and played like champions.
So, now we've got the Vols up next. Remember when that was a game to be dreaded and hopefully survived? It may still be, but not because Tennessee has a powerful team ready to wreak chaos. Oh, no. Not at all. It's the fans. Classless is not strong enough. How about ignorant, bratty, dangerous fools? The SEC issued penalties including "a fine, a requirement to find and ban specific fans, and a review of the school’s alcohol policy."
Meanwhile, Coach Saban showed off the bruise he got in the post-game crush when the Texas A&M fans rushed the field. Seriously? If a school cannot insure the safety of visiting teams, then they should return to empty stadiums. Period.
In the NFL Crimson Tide alumni continue to show their value. Even in losses, Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones showed brilliance. Najee! Waddle! DeVonta! The term "Bama on Bama crime" is trending; it describes when our ex-players meet each other on opposite sides of the ball. Good times.
