The Boys Are Back
Taking Care of Business is what happened in the Sugar Bowl, and Saban and Co. are headed to Atlanta for the finals of the College Football Playoff National Championship (as it should be.) Who would have guessed that the University of Alabama would make it this far? The Faithful, of course! The game against Clemson was a fantasy for 'Bama fans with flair and heart and memorable moments. There's a reason people can't stop talking about Da'Ron Payne's pick and subsequent TD. Because it was AWESOME! And this was a play that was practiced - impressive. My favorite moment of the game was when Saban was hysterically screaming at Daboll in the 4th quarter with the Crimson Tide ahead by 18. Aww, Coach! Never change.
What lies ahead is the season long anticipated meeting of UGA & Alabama. Of course, we thought that it would be in the SEC Championship but no matter. Atlanta, ATL... It should be a good old fashion SEC brawl with Coach Saban seeing if Kirby Smart has expanded his skills since leaving Tuscaloosa. I predict that Smart will be great, but Saban is still The Master. Buckle up and prepare for a hard fought WIN.
