Kickoff is coming! Are you ready?

The Crimson Tide heads into fall practice with a wealth of talent and a shortage of experience in several key positions. Can Nick Saban develop the younger players into the team members needed to win? If he can't, then we should pack up our ball and go home. Since 2007 Saban's unique "process" has sent record numbers of former UA players to the NFL - a hard to resist lure for top recruits. Athletes wanting to "be all you can be" see Saban as the man who can get them to the next level. Players need to bring drive and commitment to a team that focuses on team unity, complete dedication to training, and the willingness to hand their abilities to a master coach.

Early enrollment of freshman has greatly accelerated the pace at which new recruits mesh with the team. Sixteen members of the most recent recruiting class were enrolled and available for spring practice giving them a head start in adjusting to college life and adapting to Coach Saban's tough expectations. Enrolling early is a recruit's choice, but this may give the edge needed for potentially becoming the next freshman phenom. Who will be the standout first year players in 2017? Stay tuned, because the Crimson Tide hits the practice field August 3rd. Keep an eye out for new stars! Go 'Bama!
