Seasons Greetings to all of the college football fans who have found their way to mybama. Thanks to you we have the pleasure of bringing you Alabama news each and every day. It’s an honor and a pleasure to part of the wonderful family who make mybama happen. So from all of us to all of you Happy Holidays!
As December draws to a close I can reflect on visits to family in Alabama and Michigan. It has been fun visiting with my folks in Alabama, who are, of course, sure that the Tide will prevail in the Cotton Bowl against an underappreciated Michigan State team. While on the other hand those good folks in Michigan believe that their Spartans have a good chance of derailing the Tide’s title hopes. Let’s just say I hope Momma is right.
In a week we’ll find out for sure. I have to put myself in the category that thinks that perhaps Michigan State is a bit underappreciated. They are a good team that thrives on being the underdog. That’s good because this Alabama team strives to be the best.
This is an interesting matchup and it is an interesting pairing. The committee must have decided that they wanted one “fast” team and one “slow” team in the final game. By slow, I mean more traditional offense, but I reckon you knew that. Regardless of who wins the Cotton Bowl there will be a clash of styles in the championship game.
