The More Things Change
Last week held many unknowns: Could Alabama repeat against a Florida team that had played unevenly throughout the season? Would the upcoming loss of Kirby Smart disrupt the defense? Would Kenyan Drake be able to play with a broken arm?
Endless questions were answered Saturday evening as the Tide showed their strength, concentration, and depth. In the first half Alabama put fear in the Gator's punting team. The Tide's defense won the game with Alabama's powerful offense sealing the deal. Jake Coker's hustle and skills continue to impress.
Derrick Henry quietly bulldozes records and opponents. To deny him the Heisman would be unthinkable. Now, we wait to hear the verdict from the College Football Playoff folks. The Tide's ability to quickly recover from mistakes showed a championship is not only possible but that the odds are good. Go, 'Bama! ~ Guest Blogger
